In this Herald Highlight, podcast producers Huipeng Li and Marty Hewitt interview a fellow Innisian: Kyle Newcome. He is one of the Innis Herald's top contributors, the President of the IRC and is a second year student at Rotman. One thing to know about Kyle is that he writes a lot. Like, A LOT, and on many topics from science to sports. To do him justice, we combined two interviews discussing two of Kyle's recent works. In the first half, Huipeng interviews Kyle on his 6ix in the 6ix submission from the first issue, exploring his favorite spots in Toronto. In the second segment, Kyle and Marty have a lively discussion on Kyle's recent environmental piece: "A Return to Pragmatism," where he makes the compelling argument that environmental activists should return to a "data-driven, logical and unified approach."
